Elizabeth Banks made a new pal recently.

The Hunger Games star met Andrew Garfield when she attended KCRW radio’s intimate Regina Spektor show at a private venue in Los Angeles.

“Elizabeth introduced herself to Andrew at the end of the show,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE. “They shook hands and talked for a bit.”

According to the observer, the two stars were delights to have on the premises.

“There were some young girls in the audience and a couple of them went up to Andrew to say hi, and he was incredibly sweet to them,” the source says. “Elizabeth was sweet, too. She met [two young girls] and couldn’t have been nicer.”
